Bob Geldof will play Páirc Festival on Sunday 25th August, headlining our summer music festival. He will be joining a Sunday line up that features returning Páirc Festival favourite, Nathan Carter with many more to be announced.
Bob Geldof has had an incredible career in the music industry and beyond. Beginning with The Boomtown Rats, he produced the number one songs and instant classics I Don’t Like Mondays, Like Clockwork, Rat Trap and Banana Republic. Geldof then launched his successful solo career, releasing hits like This Is The World Calling and The Great Song of Indifference as well as going beyond music with his bestselling book Is that it?. Most notably Geldof was the co-founder of Band Aid, not only creating the best selling single of the 80s but also organising one of the most iconic live concerts in history.
Páirc can not wait to see Bob Geldof come to Kings Heath, Birmingham and take to the stage over the August Bank Holiday Weekend!
