Mike Denver plays Páirc Festival on Saturday 24th August, taking place at the New Irish Centre, Kings Heath, Birmingham.
Mike Denver is set to entertain the masses on the main stage at Páirc Festival. Born and raised in Portumna in the west of Ireland, he began singing from an early age and has continuously honed his craft to become the showstopping country entertainer he is today.
Mike Denver’s love for country began as he was brought up around his mother’s country music, establishing a deep love for the genre. He began touring locally at age 16 alongside his mother, his talent shining through and seeing him signed on the spot by manager Willy Carty. He wrote, recorded and released his debut album, Wings to Fly, in 2003 the first of many acclaimed albums from the Galway raised singer.
His music is an ode to country music showcasing a talent that loves what he does as well as the rich history of a genre that has deep ties to the Irish community.
We can not wait to welcome Mike to Páirc 2024 over the August Bank Holiday, where he’ll be joining an incredible Saturday lineup!
