Bang on the Ear play Páirc Festival on Saturday 26th August, taking place on the grounds of The New Irish Centre, Birmingham.

Páirc Festival is very excited to announce that Bang on the Ear are joining the Saturday lineup! The biggest celebration of Irish music and culture in the UK just got bigger!

Bang on the Ear play Páirc Festival on Saturday 26th August. They will be joining a Saturday line up that includes Van Morrison, Mary Black, Derek Ryan, All Folk’d Up, Danny Darcy, The Father Teds and Cairde.

Formed in early 1996 ‘Bang on the Ear’ started out as a mostly traditional Irish/Celtic Folk band playing mainly in folk clubs around the Midlands. The band have a very varied repertoire, ranging from traditional Irish songs and tunes, to more contemporary Irish music. They have specialised in upbeat traditional and contemporary Irish/Celtic Folk Rock songs since forming and when they play a foot stomping time is sure to be had by all.

We can’t wait for Bang on the Ear to play Páirc Festival over the August Bank Holiday Weekend!
